What we collect when you use this site, why, and how you’re in control of it. Last updated 7 September 2026.
Who this is
This site is run by NewDoor, the organisation behind Women Innovate Together, based in Riga, Latvia. NewDoor is the data controller for anything collected here.
[Client to confirm: NewDoor’s full registered legal name, address and registration number for this section — placeholder until supplied.]
Questions about this policy or your data go to hello@newdoor.io.
What we collect
The only personal data this site asks for is what you type into the contact form: name, organisation, email address, country, the area you’re interested in, and your message. Organisation and country are optional; the rest we need to reply to you.
If you accept the Analytics cookie category, we also see aggregate usage data through Google Tag Manager — pages visited, roughly where from — never tied to who you are unless you’ve also submitted the contact form. Nothing is collected just from visiting the page until you say yes to that. See Cookies below.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
We process what you submit through the contact form for one reason: to read your enquiry and reply to it. That’s our legitimate interest in running a programme people can actually reach us about — proportionate to what’s asked, and never used for anything beyond that conversation without asking you first.
Who we share it with
Submissions are forwarded to a Google Form, so that a member of the NewDoor team sees it — nothing more. Google acts as our data processor for that one step; their own privacy terms apply to how they handle it in transit and storage (Google’s privacy policy). Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which covers this kind of transfer.
We don’t sell, rent, or otherwise share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
[Client to confirm an exact retention period — for now we hold enquiry data only for as long as it’s relevant to the conversation it came from, and delete it on request at any time.]
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can ask us at any time to:
- see what we hold about you (access)
- correct anything that’s wrong (rectification)
- delete it (erasure)
- limit how we use it (restriction)
- get a copy in a portable format (portability)
- object to our processing it
Email hello@newdoor.io for any of these. If you’re not satisfied with how we’ve handled it, you can complain to Latvia’s supervisory authority, the Datu valsts inspekcija.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle data changes, we’ll update this page and move the date at the top.
